Our Story
The story of SaudiArabia-Travel.org began with a simple observation: travelers from Saudi Arabia were increasingly seeking adventures in Southeast Asia, particularly in Bali, but they often faced challenges finding services that truly understood their needs.
In 2018, our founder Ahmad Al-Rashid took his family on a vacation to Bali. While they were captivated by the island's natural beauty—the stunning rice terraces, majestic volcanoes, pristine beaches, and rich culture—they encountered numerous small but significant challenges. Finding halal food was difficult in many areas. Prayer times were not always accommodated in tour schedules. Family-friendly activities that aligned with their values were hard to identify.

Upon returning to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad began researching the possibility of creating a specialized travel service for Saudi travelers to Bali. He connected with Siti Nurhaliza, an experienced tourism professional in Bali, and Wayan Sudira, a local guide who had already been hosting Muslim guests from various countries.
Together, they spent months developing comprehensive packages that addressed every concern of Saudi travelers. They established relationships with halal-certified restaurants, identified mosques and prayer facilities throughout Bali, trained guides in Islamic customs and basic Arabic, and created family-friendly itineraries that balanced adventure with comfort.
The first official tour under the SaudiArabia-Travel.org banner took place in January 2019, hosting a family of six from Riyadh for a 7-day Bali adventure. The experience was so successful that the family booked another trip the following year, bringing extended family members along.
Word spread quickly through the community. By 2020, we were hosting dozens of families each month. Despite the challenges of the global pandemic, we adapted by offering virtual tours and flexible booking policies, maintaining our commitment to our guests even when travel was restricted.
Today, SaudiArabia-Travel.org has grown into a trusted name among Saudi travelers seeking adventures in Indonesia. We have hosted over 500 families, facilitated countless memorable experiences, and built lasting relationships with our guests. Many of our clients have become friends, returning year after year and recommending us to their relatives and friends.
Our success is not measured merely in numbers, but in the stories we've helped create: the father who watched his children's faces light up as they saw their first sunrise from Mount Batur; the mother who finally found time to relax at a halal spa while her family enjoyed water sports; the elderly grandparents who were able to experience Bali's beauty comfortably with our VIP assistance; the young couples who celebrated their honeymoons with us and later returned with their newborns.
